hey guys! today we're making this cute and tiny dollhouse in a tin, hope you'll enjoy! i do have a video showing how to make a more advanced dollhouse, so if you wanna see that, i'll link it in the info box first you just want to pick out a tin that you want to use for your project then to the side that is the deepest you want to add a layer of clay to the background. after baking you want to divide it into the different rooms or compartments.

Playpen For Dogs Walmart, for this, i just used a strip of metal as well as cardstock. the metal i used is similar to what a can of food is made of, but you can use cardstock for the entire thing. once you're done with that you wanna paint it using acrylic paint. because you want to be able to close the tin, you don't want to add anything too thick to the lid -

so for this i added fluffy fabric for grass, and some rough sand for gravel. because the pieces of furniture are going to be so tiny, you're going to need some really thin sheets of clay and the way i find is the easiest to get this, is by flattening the clay using a blade. the first piece of furniture i made is just a basic chair for the kitchen. and to make this i started out by making the back rest as well as the hind legs - i then added the seat, pre-baked and added the front legs. you can use liquid clay inbetween the different joints to strengthen it. i also made a matching table, however for this one i pre-baked the legs before adding them to the table top.

and because fabric is too stiff to fold nicely, i added a thin sheet of white clay for the table cloth. next i made some simple kitchen counters, a stove and a fridge, and for this one i added all the details before baking. if you want to add some more details to the pieces you can definitely do that, but i chose to keep it super simple to fit as many pieces of furniture as possible, into the video. the reason why i didn't add any doors or staircases to this dollhouse, is because the rooms aren't as deep as in the previous dollhouse i made, so by adding doors, you'll have less room to add furniture. after baking i added some details using acrylic paint and alcohol ink, both in silver. next i made a couch and chair for the living room.

i first made a base, then added the back rest and arm rests. added the seats as well as the pillows for the back rest, then baked. and to make the bookcase i just created the frame, pre-baked, added the shelves and baked again. to make a simple bed, cut out a rectangle for the base, add the foot - and head board, add the comforter and pillow and finish off with a few details. the second piece of furniture i made for the bedroom is just a simple dresser, and for this one i made the entire thing as well, before baking. to make the tub i basically started out by making a dent in a lump of clay,

i then cut most of the clay off the sides, pre-baked and used a file to shape it. add the feet and fosset, then bake again and paint it using alcohol ink or acrylic paint.

for the toilet i pre-baked before adding the rest of the clay to the foot and top lid. and for the sink i pre-baked before adding clay to the underside. once you have all the pieces you can either choose to keep them loose or glue them into the dollhouse and you're done!
