so we have dogs and cats that we take care of every day, on an ongoing basis. - what we offer to our students is a combination of theory and practical hands-on courses, starting directly in semester one. this is a great asset to employers, since our students are trained in all four semesters, and are ready and able to practice those skills upon graduation. - not knowing much about northern college before arriving, i was really surprised and pleased by the facilities that we have here. everything is very up-to-date and modern and state-of-the-art technologies are used throughout all of our classes. i would definitely recommend northern college to any students that are applying for the vet tech program in large part due to our colonies. we have many different species that we keep here, and we're able to spend hands-on time with, practicing and learning, on a daily basis.

- i would definitely recommend this program to anyone that has a passion for animals and is eager to learn. it is a pretty intensive program, so you do need a science and math background, but otherwise you'll definitely love the program and it's very rewarding.
