hey everybody! this is randy santel, "atlas" with atlas & zues promotions and proud owner of foodchallenges.com tonight i'm going for win #331 in watervleet, ny near albany at gus's hot dogs taking on their hot dog record challenge! basically it's their mini dogs covered in the works! which is their meat sauce, almost like a chili along with onions and mustard. i've got to beat 45 is the current record which has been there since 2004 by a guy named jim, but i've got to eat 46 within an hour and i'll get all of them free, a shirt, and be up on their wall of fame! lets get this challenge started! gus' hot dogs has been around for 61 years now! the record has been around since 2004!
i've got 25 here! i want the next ones come out warm. going to eat these 25, and then they'll bring me more! lets get started! one, two, three! just over 12 minutes in the first 35 are gone, now i've got 10 more to match the record! after this it will be 45, then see how many i can do after that! we got our diet soda to stay with my healthy eating habits, so lets eat! now aspartame free! 17:30 - done with 44, they're making me more so i can get up to 50! lets get this one down to tie the record! 18:15 - tied the record, now lets beat it! 18:54 was the official time for the record! 50 sounds pretty good, so i'm going to get that!
21:19 - official new record for gus's hot dog record challenge (50). loved everything on their. their meat sauce, their mustard, onions, hot dogs! thank you to gus's hot dogs for the awesome challenge! win #331! getting all of those hot dogs for free, which were like $.85 each. i'll also get a gus's t-shirt and be up on their wall of fame! thanks for watching!
